FETHİ İZAN

He was born in Niğde in 1963. He completed his primary and secondary education in Adana. In 1982, he entered the Department of Chemistry at Çukurova University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences. During his student years, he participated in national and international exhibitions with his photographs and received various awards. In 1989, he began his education at Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. From 1990 to 1991, he worked as a photojournalist for Güneş Newspaper. From 1991 to 1993, he worked as a producer-director at İLTEK multimedia company, creating national and international promotional materials.

In 1993, he started his professional career in advertising photography at Utopia Fotograf Production company, which he co-founded with a friend. In 2010, he co-founded "P Blok" with two friends, serving as an art director and producer. P Blok is a structure in Maslak that provides studio, production, and post-production services to photographer agencies and brands. He primarily specializes in still life, lifestyle, and portrait photography in advertising. In addition to his commercial work, he has various personal projects consisting of different series. His photographs have earned national and international awards in the advertising industry.

In addition to his photography production, he has conducted workshops and seminars on Lighting, Composition, Shooting Techniques, and Advertising Photography at various educational institutions. In 2007, he started teaching Advertising Photography at Bilgi University, Faculty of Communication Design. Currently, he writes articles on advertising photography, production, and shooting techniques for Fotograf Dergisi and Fotoritim, a virtual photography magazine called "Fotograf Arkası."
